Site update

Post by Viriato »

Started a new topic and deleted another one, to organize better our forum.

Today I've updated the main site abit. Still needs alot of work, but I also still wait for someone to aid me in that :)

Bought iberiamud.com domain, so we have now a \"clean\" web address.

Good evening.
The \"connect\" links in our main site points now to a MUD client in a browser, that works in Iberia's server. This means we now host everything without need of any third party programs, using Flash Policy Server 1.1 (http://www.flash-resources.net/download.html) and FMud 0.91 (http://bc-dev.net/projects/fmud/).
In the future, I will eventually check a way to make it an application in Facebook, so Iberia MUD and MUD's words can be spread in another big community.

Thanks

Good evening.
Today I've changed the old \"World of Warcraft\" site template to a new one called \"Papira\". Hope you enjoy.

Ahoy.

After other implementations, also news board can be checked online in our site - the link is available at the entrance webpage.

Each time a new note is added or removed from news board, it is updated on site.

Thank you.

Hail.
I've updated the old phpbb 2 forum to phpbb 3. More secure and more options with less bugs. Probably old links to files are broken, but I will try to fix it in the future.
If any error found, please PM me.
Thank you.

Ahoy!

Recently, after an invitation, Anthem offered to aid us fixing existant text (grammar, typos, shaping text, etc). He is working hard to help us recreate the desired environment,so thank you Anthem for spending your time with us and for your work here!

While in MUD itself there is an author command that shows who created a given NPC, item or room, in our site we don't have such resource and I rather keep a cleaner interface, so nothing is "authored". Considering this, this post purpose is to publicly state whom did what:
- MUD description here and in The MUD Connector, MUD Gamers and Top MUD Sites, was reviewed by Anthem.
- Iberia logo and banners (which will be setup in our site promo sites in near future) were created entirely by Yarrow.
Thank you for the work and time spent!

A special thanks too to Averlon for testing and bug finding, and Siliniez and Titus for some building and text reviewing (which, again, can be checked in MUD using author command).
