Beer in spite of wine
Beer in spite of wine
As you probably know, I am portuguese. And after reading abit more about what lusitans ate and drunk at that time, I've figured out one point that makes me descendant of lusitans: wine was much better than beer, but rare... so beer was the main drink in Iberia! Who knows?

Well Id imagine its easier to produce beer and probably cheaper. Im not gonna say I know the history of wine, but aint it so that it was the Romans that brought with them wine plants to areas like France and was the first to produce it there.. Id assume wine to be a drink for the rich ones, but could be wrong
After reading something more, I guess that also. Easier to make, but of course it had very less quality than nowadays beer. Wine was difficult to make. In Iberia there were wine... but in very few quantities. In Rome they drunk it often. Also they poisoned it often MORE PLOTS!!!
