Help for aim

---------------------------------------------------

Usage: aim

Usage: aim [NONE|HEAD|ARMS|LEGS|TORSO]

The aim command allows you to modify your combat strategy by focusing your hits towards a specific body area of your opponent.

Standard percentage values for hitting are 50% torso, 25% legs, 20% arms and 5% head. Aiming a specific body area will make you increase the chance to hit that area by 15%, reducing 5% in all others. To the final percentages is also taken into consideration if your foe is dodging a specific area or not.

In detail, to each of those body areas correspond other smaller areas, the ones detailed in 'armour' command (HEAD is composed by head and neck, ARMS by arms and hands, LEGS by legs and feet, and TORSO by torso, back and belly). This means that when you aim at torso, you can hit torso, back or belly (you can only aim at the general body area, not the specific one), and the damage made is higher or lower based on what your foe is wearing as armour at that area. It is a good idea, so, to analyze your enemy to check which body areas are more or less protected in search of break points.

Do not forget that critical hits are more likely to happen in head and torso.

To see what area are you currently aiming at, just type 'aim'.

Besides a command, aim is also a skill. To read a bit more details what this skill is about, type "help combat_skills".
