InterMUD communications are the methods of allowing MUDs to communicate with each other. Using a snippet made by David Green (check 'credits'), Iberia supports such communications using Intermud-3 (I3) protocol.
Usage: i3 - displays information about I3 connection status and tuned channels.
Usage: i3 [on|off] - turn on or off channel listening.
Usage: i3 ime [on|off|settings|restart|change] - turn on, off, check router settings, restart, or change the I3 router to connect to. Administrators only.
Usage: i3 channels - lists all channels available in I3 router (can have delay on updates).
Usage: i3 channels update - request update of available channels to I3 router.
Usage: i3 addChannel [channel] - start listening to a given channel.
Usage: i3 removeChannel [channel] - remove a previously added channel.
Usage: i3 [channel] [message] - send a message to the given channel.
Usage: $[message] - shortcut to send a message to the imud_gossip channel.
Usage: i3 [tell|emoteto] [mud]:[character] [message] - tell or emote something to a given character in other mud.
Usage: i3 emote [channel] - send an emote to the given channel.
Usage: i3 muds - list of muds connected to I3.
Usage: i3 who [mud] - list characters in the given mud.
Usage: i3 info [mud] - shows details of the given mud.
NOTE: mud and channel arguments are case sensitive.
Here is a list of some known channels:
bofh - Technical discussion.
dchat - Friendly offtopic chat (PG-13 rated).
free_speech - Where offensive stuff goes.
inews - RSS feeds from popular news sites.
imud_code - General technical chatter.
imud_gossip - General offtopic chat (NC-17).
mudnews - RSS feeds from popular mud forums.
sport - Sports news.
