In a basic overview, Iberia is a multi-user real-time virtual world described entirely in text, combining role-playing, hack and slash, interactive fiction and online chat (in resume, it's a MUD - Multi-User Dungeon). Players can read descriptions of rooms, objects, other players, non-player characters, and actions performed in the virtual world. Players interact with each other and the world by typing commands.
More specifically, Iberia is based in how History tells us Roman Republic was, by 150 BC, when was expanding it's territories in Europe. We pretend to make this world the more realistic we can, at a start point, and then players can interact and create an alternate history.
With this stated, if you want to know abit more about Iberia theme, just type "help theme". Also, any History book will explain any detail you wish to know about our background.
We have two tutorial quests to make you acquaint with the basics of a multi-user dungeon and with Iberia. We suggest every new player to do both but, obviously, if you are used to MUDs, you should skip the first one. To know how to begin those quests, that can be made and repeated at any time, just type "help tutorials".
