As stated in previous post, Iberia now has tutorials!
It was identified long ago that the lack of a deeper introduction was a tremendous gap for new players which, basically, after the character creation, were thrown to Iberia like a stone falling into a pool.
Now, right after character creation, players will have the following options:
- type "tutorial new to muds" to learn basic commands about MUDs
- type "tutorial new to iberia" to do an introduction to the Iberia setting
Even though it was planned for new players, it is considered that it may be useful for old players and those commands will work for everyone at any time!
Also, as both tutorials are quests, both award a quest point (one per quest)!
There's a single detail: the tutorial new to muds is common to every ethnic group. On the other hand, the tutorial new to Iberia is different if you are a roman or a barbarian (any other ethnic group). So or you will only be able to do, and get the corresponding quest point, of the Tutorial - new to Iberia (romans) or Tutorial - new to Iberia (barbarians).
